Martin Solveig & Dragonette: "Hello" (2010)

"Hello" is a song performed by French electronic music DJ and producer Martin Solveig. It features vocals from Canadian singer-songwriter Martina Sorbara of the New Wave/electropop band, Dragonette. The song is Solveig's most successful single, peaking at number one in Austria, Flanders and The Netherlands.


It also reached number one in the U.S. Hot Dance Airplay and Hot Dance Club Songs charts in February 2011. The song reached number two in Wallonia, and peaked top 10 in New Zealand, Ireland, France, Germany, Romania, Canada, Italy and Czech Republic. The song also peaked top 20 in the United Kingdom (though top 10 in Scotland), Australia and Hungary. It was also featured in Trident's commercial for its new 'Vitality' line of gum, which brought the song into the lower reaches of the Billboard Hot 100 in April 2011.


The song was also covered by cover band The Baseballs as the leading single off their second album in 2011.
