Can't stop, can't stop the beat
Won't stop, won't stop the beat
And GO
(Junior)
Everybody
Move your feet
And feel united oh oh oh (2x)
Yeah,
We goin' down town, oh yeah (4x)
(Senior)
D-d-don't stop the beat
I c-c-can't control the feet
P-p-people in the streets
C'mon everybody, move your feet
Don't stop (don't stop) don't stop the beat
I can't stop (can't stop) can't stop the beat
I won't stop (won't stop) won't stop the beat
And GO
(Junior)
Everybody
Move your feet
And feel united oh oh oh (2x)
Yeah,
We going down town, oh yeah(4x)
(Senior)
S-s-sing my song and
Y-y-you sing along, just
P-p-put my record on
And all of your troubles are dead and gone
Don't stop (don't stop) don't stop, the beat
I can't stop (can't stop) can't stop the beat
I won't stop (won't stop) won't stop the beat
And GO
(Junior)
Everybody
Move your feet
And feel united oh oh oh (2x)
Yeah,
Oh yeah (3x)
(Senior)
Don't stop, (don't stop) don't stop, the beat
I can't stop, (can't stop) can't stop the beat
I won't stop, (won't stop) won't stop the beat
And GO
(Junior)
Everybody
Move your feet
And feel united oh oh oh (3x)
Yeah

Tina Turner & Eros Ramazzotti: "Cose della vita (Can't Stop Thinking of You)"" (1992)
"Cose della vita (Can't Stop Thinking of You)" is the 9th track in the album "Eros", the first greatest hits album by Italian pop/rock singer Eros Ramazzotti, released in 1997 on the BMG label. Of the album's 16 tracks, five are original recordings, nine re-recordings and two new tracks.
Two of the re-recorded tracks are duets; "Musica è" featuring Andrea Bocelli and "Cose della vita (Can't Stop Thinking of You)" with Tina Turner. Eros topped the albums chart in six countries.
- Lyrics:
Sono umane situazioni
Quei momenti fra di noi
I distacchi ed i ritorni
Da capirci niente poi
Gia come vedi
Sto pensando a tesida un po'
They're just human contradictions
Feeling happy feeling sad
These emotional transitions
All the memories we've had
Yes, you know it's true
I just can't stop thinking of you
No I just can't pretend
All the time we spent could die
Wanna feel it again
All the love we felt then
Confinanti di cuore solo che ognuno sta
Dietro gli steccati degli orgogli suoi
Sto pensando a te
Sto pensando a noi
Sono cose della vita
Vanno prese un po' cosi
Some for worse and some for better
But through it all we've come so far
Giacome vedi
Io sto ancora in piedi perche
Sono umani tutti i sogni miei
Con le mani io li prenderei, si perchГЁ
What's life without a dream to hold?
Take my hand and never let me go
It's part of life together
But what future does it hold?
Sono cose della vita
Ma la vita poi dov'e
Yes, you know it's true
I just can't stop thinking of you
Questa notte che passa piano accanto a me
Cerco di affrontarla, afferrarla
If our hearts miss a beat
Or get lost like a ship at sea
I wanna remember, I can never forget
Can't stop thinking of you
Sto pensando a noi
Can't stop thinking of you
Can't stop

Pia Toscano: "This Time" (2011)
"This Time" is the debut single of American recording artist and American Idol season 10 finalist, Pia Toscano. The song was first performed on the American Idol tour in Salt Lake City, Utah on July 5, 2011. It was premiered on On Air with Ryan Seacrest on July 11, 2011 and digitally released on July 13, 2011. The following day it was announced via Twitter that Toscano is filming a music video for the song. She performed the song the August 4, 2011 episode of So You Think You Can Dance. The music video for the song premiered on August 9.
The song has received positive to mixed reviews by critics. Joseph Brannigan Lynch of Entertainment Weekly says "it's the kind of song we can expect to hear Rachel Berry singing the next time Finn screws up: sad, relatable, and a touch awe-inspiring. Chris Willman of Los Angeles Times gave the song a more negative review, saying Pia "sings the hell out of it, of course"; he calls the song itself "a compendium of comeback cliches that almost reads like a parody of the whole I-will-survive genre." Jillian Mapes and Sarah Maloy of Billboard say "Lyrically, Toscano finds her strength -- from what sounds to be an emotionally or even physically abusive relationship -- on the midtempo pop ballad."
- Lyrics:
Well I’m mad as hell
I ain’t gon’ take it no more
My bag is packed up at the back of your door
‘Cause I don’t know who I am no more
You won the battle but you lost the war
I’ve been in denial, now I’m living the truth
Been down for a while, now I’m standing up to you
[Refrain]
this time I’m gonna do it my away
This time, I’m finding out the hard away
This time, I’m gonna go back to the girl I was on the night you found me
No more, closing back the real me
Just wait, in a minute you’ll see
This time, is in time, it’s my time
Getting back to the real me
Don’t try to stop me with the words you say
‘Cause I’m sick and tired of the games you play
I’m gonna free myself, gonna make a change
And like a butterfly, I’mma spread my wings
Been crying for too long, now I’m drying my eyes
Grounded for so long, now it’s time for me to fly
[Refrain]
This time, this time I’m gonna do it my away
This time, I’m finding out the hard away
This time, I’m gonna go back to the girl I was on the night you found me
No more, closing back the real me
Just wait, in a minute you’ll see
This time, is in time, it’s my time
Getting back to the real me
I’m mad as hell
I can’t take it no more
My bag is packed up at the back of your door
I promise you, this time!
[Refrain]
This time, this time I’m gonna do it my away
This time, I’m finding out the hard away
This time, I’m gonna go back to the girl I was on the night you found me
No more, closing back the real me
Just wait, in a minute you’ll see
This time, is in time, it’s my time
Getting back to the real me

- Lyrics:
Hurry up and wait
So close, but so far away
Everything that you've always dreamed of
Close enough for you to taste
But you just can't touch
You wanna show the world, but no one knows your name yet
Wonder when and where and how you're gonna make it
You know you can if you get the chance
In your face as the door keeps slamming
Now you're feeling more and more frustrated
And you're getting all kind of impatient waiting
(Refrain:)
We live and we learn to take
One step at a time
There's no need to rush
It's like learning to fly
Or falling in love
It's gonna happen and it's
Supposed to happen that we
Find the reasons why
One step at a time
You believe and you doubt
You're confused, you got it all figured out
Everything that you always wished for
Could be yours, should be yours, would be yours
If they only knew
You wanna show the world, but no one knows your name yet
Wonder when and where and how you're gonna make it
You know you can if you get the chance
In your face as the door keeps slamming
Now you're feeling more and more frustrated
And you're getting all kind of impatient waiting
(Refrain)
When you can't wait any longer
But there's no end in sight
It's the faith that makes you stronger
The only way you get there
Is one step at a time
(Refrain x2)

The song was used as the theme for the 2006 telenovela Desire on the MyTV Network.
- Lyrics:
My yesterdays are all boxed up and neatly put away
But every now and then you come to mind
Cause you were always waiting to be picked to play the game
But when your name was called, you found a place to hide
When you knew that I was always on your side
Well everything was easy then, so sweet and innocent
But my demons and my angels reappeared
Leavin' all the traces of the man you thought I'd be
Too afraid to hear the words I've always feared
Leavin' you so many questions all these years
But is there someplace far away, someplace where all is clear
Easy to start over with the ones you hold so dear
Or are you left to wonder, all alone, eternally
This isn't how it's really meant to be
No it isn't how it's really meant to be
Well they say that love is in the air, but never is it clear,
How to pull it close and make it stay
Butterflies are free to fly, and so they fly away
And I'm left to carry on and wonder why
Even through it all, I'm always on your side
But is there someplace far away, someplace where all is clear
Easy to start over with the ones you hold so dear
Or are you left to wonder, all alone, eternally
But this isn't how it's really meant to be
No it isn't how it's really meant to be
Well if they say that love is in the air, never is it clear
How to pull it close and make it stay
If butterflies are free to fly, why do they fly away
Leavin' me to carry on and wonder why
Was it you that kept me wondering through this life
When you know that I was always on your side

Adele: "Make You Feel My Love" (Live on Letterman - 2011)
This is a cover of a Bob Dylan song from his 1997 album Time Out Of Mind. The song returned to the UK singles chart in September 2010 after X-Factor contestant Annastasia Baker performed the song on the show.
The song's music video was released on music channels and Adele's website in late September 2008. In the clip, Adele is waiting for a response to a text during the early morning in a city apartment.
- Lyrics:
When the rain
Is blowing in your face
And the whole world
Is on your case
I could offer you
A warm embrace
To make you feel my love
When the evening shadows
And the stars appear
And there is no one there
To dry your tears
I could hold you
For a million years
To make you feel my love
[ Lyrics from: http://www.lyricsmode.com/lyrics/a/adele/make_you_feel_my_love.html ]
I know you
Haven't made
Your mind up yet
But I would never
Do you wrong
I've known it
From the moment
That we met
No doubt in my mind
Where you belong
I'd go hungry
I'd go black and blue
I'd go crawling
Down the avenue
No, there's nothing
That I wouldn't do
To make you feel my love
The storms are raging
On the rolling sea
And on the highway of regret
Though winds of change
Are blowing wild and free
You ain't seen nothing
Like me yet
I could make you happy
Make your dreams come true
Nothing that I wouldn't do
Go to the ends
Of the Earth for you
To make you feel my love

- Lyrics:
Freezin' rests his head on a pillow made of concrete again
Oh Feelin' maybe he'll see a little betters any days
Oh hand out faces that he sees come again ain't that familiar
Oh dark grin he can't help when he's happy he looks insane
Even flow
thoughts arrive like butterflies
Oh he don't know
so he chases them away
someday yet he'll begin his life again
Life again
Kneelin' looking through the paper though he doesn't know to read
Prayin', now to something that has never showed him anything
Oh, feelin', understands the weather or that winters on its way, yeah
Oh, ceilings, few and far between all the legal halls of shame
Even flow
thoughts arrive like butterflies
Oh, he don't know
so he chases them away
someday yet he'll begin his life again
Whispering hands, carry him away
him away, him away
yeah!
woo
oh yeah yeah

- Lyrics:
There's no combination of words
I could put on the back of a postcard
No song I could sing
But I can try for your heart
Our dreams, and they are made out of real things
like a, shoebox of photographs
with sepiatone loving
Love is the answer,
at least for most of the questions in my heart
Like why are we here? and where do we go?
And how come we're so hard?
It's not always easy and
sometimes life can be deceiving
I'll tell you one thing its always better when we're together
Chorus:
MMM its always better when we're together
look at the stars when we're together
its always better when we're together
Yeah, its always better when we're together
And all of these moments
just might find there way into my dreams tonight
But I know that theyll be gone
when the morning light sings
and brings new things
but tomorrow night you see
that theyll be gone too
too many things I have to do
But if all of these dreams might find there way
into my day to day scene
Ill be under the impression
i was somewhere in between
With only two
Just me and you
Not so many things we got to do
or places we got to be
We'll Sit beneath the mango tree
its always better when we're together
Somewhere in between together
its always better when we're together
Yeah, its always better when we're together
MMmmmm MMMmmmm Mmmmmm
I believe in memories
they look so, so pretty when I sleep
Hey now, and when I wake up,
you look so pretty sleeping next to me
But there is no time,
and there is no song I could sing
and there is no, combination of words I could say
but I will still tell you one thing
We're Better together

- Lyrics:
You only stay with me in the morning
You only hold me when I sleep
I was meant to tread the water
But now I've gotten in too deep
For every piece of me that wants you
Another piece backs away
You give me something
That makes me scared alright
This could be nothing
But I'm willing to give it a try
Please give me something
Because someday I might know my heart
You only waited up for hours
Just to spend a little time alone with me
And I can say I've never bought you flowers
I can't work out what they mean
I never thought that I'd love someone
That was someone else's dream
You give me something
That makes me scared alright
This could be nothing
But I'm willing to give it a try
Please give me something
Because someday I might call you from my heart
But it might be a second too late
And the words that I could never say
Are gonna come out anyway
You give me something
That makes me scared alright
This could be nothing
But I'm willing to give it a try
Please give me something
You give me something
That makes me scared alright
This could be nothing
But I'm willing to give it a try
Please give me something
Because someday I might know my heart
Know my heart, know my heart, know my heart

- Lyrics:
Head under water
And they tell me to breathe easy for a while
The breathing gets harder, even I know that
You made room for me but it's too soon to see
If I'm happy in your hands
I'm unusually hard to hold on to
Blank stares at blank pages
No easy way to say this
You mean well, but you make this hard on me
I'm not gonna write you a love song
'cause you asked for it
'cause you need one, you see
I'm not gonna write you a love song
'cause you tell me it's
Make or breaking this
If you're on your way
I'm not gonna write you to stay
If all you have is leaving I'm gonna need a better
Reason to write you a love song today
I learned the hard way
That they all say things you want to hear
And my heavy heart sinks deep down under you and
Your twisted words,
Your help just hurts
You are not what I thought you were
Hello to high and dry
Convinced me to please you
Made me think that I need this too
I'm trying to let you hear me as I am
I'm not gonna write you a love song
'cause you asked for it
'cause you need one, you see
I'm not gonna write you a love song
'cause you tell me it's
Make or breaking this
If you're on your way
I'm not gonna write you to stay
If all you have is leaving I'm gonna need a better
Reason to write you a love song today
Promise me that you'll leave the light on
To help me see with daylight, my guide, gone
'cause I believe there's a way you can love me
Because I say
I won't write you a love song
'cause you asked for it
'cause you need one, you see
I'm not gonna write you a love song
'cause you tell me it's make or breaking this
Is that why you wanted a love song
'cause you asked for it
'cause you need one, you see
I'm not gonna write you a love song
'cause you tell me it's make or breaking this
If you're on your way
I'm not gonna write you to stay
If your heart is nowhere in it
I don't want it for a minute
Babe, I'll walk the seven seas when I believe that
There's a reason to
Write you a love song today

Stars shining bright above you
Night breezes seem to whisper I love you
Birds singing in the sycamore tree
Dream a little dream of me
Say nighty night and kiss me
Just hold me tight and tell me you'll miss me
While I'm alone and blue as can be
Dream a little dream of me
Stars fading but I linger on dear
Still craving your kiss
I'm longing to linger til dawn dear
Just saying this
Sweet dreams til sunbeams find you
Sweet dreams that leave our worries behind
But in your dreams whatever they be
Dream a little dream of me

Held you tight
'Cause I love

In the still of the night
I remember
That night in May
The stars were bright above
I'll hope and I'll pray
To keep your precious love
Well before the light
Hold me again
With all of your might
In the still of the night
(In the still of the night)
So before the light
Hold me again
With all of your might
In the still of the night
(In the still of the night)
In the still of the night
Eddie Cochran: "Summertime Blues" (1958)
It was written in the late 1950s by Eddie Cochran and his manager Jerry Capehart.
Originally a single B-side, it peaked at #8 on the Billboard Hot 100 on September 29, 1958 and #18 on the UK Singles Chart.
- Lyrics:
I'm gonna raise a fuss, I'm gonna raise a holler
About a workin' all summer just to try to earn a dollar
Every time I call my baby, and ask to get a date
My boss says, "No dice son, you gotta work late"
Sometimes I wonder what I'm a gonna do
But there ain't no cure for the summertime blues
Well my mom and pop told me, "Son you gotta make some money"
If you want to use the car to go ridin' next Sunday
Well I didn't go to work, told the boss I was sick
"Well you can't use the car 'cause you didn't work a lick"
Sometimes I wonder what I'm a gonna do
But there ain't no cure for the summertime blues
I'm gonna take the weeks, gonna have a fine vacation
I'm gonna take my problem to the United Nations
Well I called my congressman and he said "Whoa!"
"I'd like to help you son but you're too young to vote"
Sometimes I wonder what I'm a gonna do
But there ain't no cure for the summertime blues

- Lyrics:
God broke the mold,
When he made this one I know
She's breathtaking but so much more
She walks in the room, your loves closed
Making you never want to breathe again
Her boyfriend has got so much dough
So much ice his neck and wrist froze
Is he faithful to her? Hell no
But she chose to be with him, shorty
Tell me is the money worth your soul
Tell me what's the reason that you hold on
When you know that dude has a whole wall of 'em just like you
And girl you're just way too fine
Gotta be treated as one of a kind
Girl use your mind
Don't be just another dime
Because
[refrain]
I can't take
Seeing you with him
'Cuz I know exactly what you'll be,
In his gallery
It's just not fair
And it's tearing me apart
You're just another priceless work of art
In his gallery
She's so confused
She knows she deserves more
Someone who will love and adore
But his money's hard to ignore
She really doesn't know what to do
Girl it's just a matter of time
Before he finds another more fine
After he's done dulling your shine
You're out the door and he's through with you
Tell me is the money worth your soul
Tell me what's the reason that you hold on,
When you know that dude has a whole wall of 'em just like you
And girl you're just way too fine
Gotta be treated as one of a kind
Girl use your mind
Don't be just another dime
[refrain]
I can't take
Seeing you with him
'Cuz I know exactly what you'll be
In his gallery
It's just not fair
And it's tearing me apart
You're just another priceless work of art
In his gallery
You're a masterpiece
I know that he
Can't appreciate your beauty
Don't let him cheapen you
He don't see you like i do
Beautiful not just for show
Time that someone let you know
[refrain]
I can't take
Seeing you with him
'Cuz I know exactly what you'll be
In his gallery
It's just not fair
And it's tearing me apart
You're just another priceless work of art

"The Power of Love" is a power ballad co-written and originally recorded by Jennifer Rush. It has been covered by several artists, most notably by Air Supply, Laura Branigan and Céline Dion, and translated into several languages, becoming a pop standard.
The song was first recorded by Jennifer Rush in 1984. The American born Rush, who had been recording for CBS (Frankfurt) with producers Gunther Mende and Candy DeRouge since 1982, had her first German chart placings in 1984 with the Top 30 hits "25 Lovers" and "Ring of Ice"; "The Power of Love" - written by Rush, Mende and DeRouge with Mary Susan Applegate - then took Rush into the Top 20 with a #17 peak in March 1985. According to wikipedia, "The Power of Love" becoame the second (if counting "When I Fall in Love" as first) single from Céline Dion's 1993 album, The Colour of My Love. It was released on November 1, 1993 in North America, in December in Japan, and the next year in the rest of the world.
"The Power of Love" is the second Jennifer Rush song Dion has covered. Earlier the same year she recorded a French adaptation of "Higher Ground," called "Plus haut que moi." The song was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance and an American Music Award for Favorite Pop/Rock Single in 1995."The Power of Love" is one of the most often performed songs by Céline Dion. She sang it for five nights a week in her show A New Day... at Caesars Palace, Las Vegas, and later during her 2008-09 Taking Chances Tour. It was included on Dion's greatest hits compilations: All the Way… A Decade of Song in 1999 and My Love: Essential Collection in 2008. Live versions of this song can be found on the albums: À l'Olympia, Live à Paris and Taking Chances World Tour: The Concert.
"The Power of Love" became an international smash hit. The song rose to the top of the charts in the United States, Australia and Canada. In the U.S. it topped the Billboard Hot 100 for 4 weeks, the first Céline Dion single to do so. It also went to number 1 for 5 weeks on the Hot 100 Singles Sales and to number 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 Airplay. It was also number 1 for 4 weeks on the Hot Adult Contemporary Tracks.
- Lyrics:
The whispers in the morning
Of lovers sleeping tight
Are rolling like thunder now
As I look in your eyes
I hold on to your body
And feel each move you make
Your voice is warm and tender
A love that I could not forsake
(first chorus)
'Cause I am your lady
And you are my man
Whenever you reach for me
I'll do all that I can
Lost is how I'm feeling lying in your arms
When the world outside's too
Much to take
That all ends when I'm with you
Even though there may be times
It seems I'm far away
Never wonder where I am
'Cause I am always by your side
(repeat first chorus)
(second chorus)
We're heading for something
Somewhere I've never been
Sometimes I am frightened
But I'm ready to learn
Of the power of love
The sound of your heart beating
Made it clear
Suddenly the feeling that I can't go on
Is light years away
(repeat first chorus)
(repeat second chorus)
Europe: "The Final Countdown" (1986)
"The Final Countdown" is a melodic heavy metal song by the Swedish rock band Europe written by Joey Tempest. It was the first single released from the band's third studio album, The Final Countdown, in 1986. It is the band's most recognizable and popular song. The song reached No.
1 in 25 countries, including the United Kingdom. In the United States the song peaked at No. 8 on the Billboard Hot 100 and 18 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Tracks chart. The single was certified Gold in the United Kingdom in 1986.
The song was based on an old keyboard riff that vocalist Joey Tempest had written as early as 1981–82, on a Korg Polysix keyboard he borrowed from keyboardist Mic Michaeli. In 1985, bassist John Levén suggested that Tempest should write a song based on that riff. Tempest recorded a demo version of the song and played it for the other band members. At first the members expressed mixed reactions to it. "When I first heard the synth intro to 'The Final Countdown', my reaction was: 'No, this is nuts. We just can't use this,'" guitarist John Norum said, "Thank God they didn't listen to me."
"Some of the guys in the band thought it was too different for a rock band," Tempest said, "But in the end I fought hard to make sure it got used."
The song's lyrics were inspired by David Bowie's song "Space Oddity". The sound of the keyboard riff used in the recording was achieved by using a Yamaha TX-816 rack unit and a Roland JX-8P synthesizer. "I made a brassy sound from the JX-8P and used a factory sound from the Yamaha, and just layered them together," Michaeli said.
- Lyrics:
We're leaving together,
But still it's farewell
And maybe we'll come back,
To earth, who can tell?
I guess there is no one to blame
We're leaving ground
Will things ever be the same again?
It's the final countdown...
We're heading for Venus and still we stand tall
Cause maybe they've seen us and welcome us all
With so many light years to go and things to be found
I'm sure that we'll all miss her so
Elton John: "Your Song" (From self-titled second album in 1970)
"Your Song" is a ballad composed and performed by musician Elton John. The song's lyrics were written by Bernie Taupin. The song was released in the U.S. in October 1970 as the B-side to "Take Me to the Pilot". Both received airplay, but "Your Song" was preferred by disc jockeys and replaced "Take Me to the Pilot" as the A-side, eventually making both the UK and U.S. top ten charts. A version of the song titled "Your Song (Demo Version)" was included on the 1990 compilation album To Be Continued..
"Your Song" is a soft blend of two different styles: folk and jazz: "I hope you don't mind / I hope you don't mind / That I've put down in words / How wonderful life is while you're in the world." The instrumental focus is on John's Leon Russell-influenced piano work, along with acoustic guitar, Paul Buckmaster's string accompaniment, and a shuffling rhythm section.
The lyrics express the romantic thoughts of an innocent. Taupin offers a straightforward love-song lyric at the beginning: "It's a little bit funny this feeling inside / I'm not one of those who can easily hide / I don't have much money but boy if I did / I'd buy a big house where we both could live." At times the self-deprecating narrator stumbles to get out his feelings, which despite being a melodramatic device, Allmusic calls "effective and sweet":[2] "So excuse me forgetting but these things I do / You see I've forgotten if they're green or they're blue / Anyway the thing is what I really mean / Yours are the sweetest eyes I've ever seen / And you can tell everybody this is your song / It may be quite simple but now that it's done..."
According to wikipedia, the song was part of a stockpile of songs John and Taupin wrote while living together. John pinpoints his composition of the music to 27 October 1969. It took him only ten minutes. Taupin had penned the lyrics earlier that day over breakfast. John cites the song as one of his favourites, and plays it at most of his concerts. In an interview, he commented, "I don't think I have written a love song as good since".
- Lyrics:
It's a little bit funny this feeling inside
I'm not one of those who can easily hide
I don't have much money but boy if I did
I'd buy a big house where we both could live
If I was a sculptor, but then again, no
Or a man who makes potions in a travelling show
I know it's not much but it's the best I can do
My gift is my song and this one's for you
And you can tell everybody this is your song
It may be quite simple but now that it's done
I hope you don't mind
I hope you don't mind that I put down in words
How wonderful life is while you're in the world
I sat on the roof and kicked off the moss
Well a few of the verses well they've got me quite cross
But the sun's been quite kind while I wrote this song
It's for people like you that keep it turned on
So excuse me forgetting but these things I do
You see I've forgotten if they're green or they're blue
Anyway the thing is what I really mean
Yours are the sweetest eyes I've ever seen
