- Lyrics:
I put a record on
Put it on and sing along with you
Sing along with you
And that's okay by me
That's okay 'cause in a way I'm free
In a way I am free
And you don't have to sympathize
I will try and dry my eyes
And I'm okay if we're drinking
Grab a beer and disappear with me
Disappear with me
And you don't, you don't have to sympathize
I will try and dry my eyes
And I put a record on
Put it on and get it on with you
Get it on with you
This time you'll find some other gonna mess your mind
It's too late or too soon
Some other gonna come too soon
Put it on
I will try and dry my eyes
Put it on
Am I something you despise?
Put it on
I will try to dry my eyes
I put a record on
I put a record on
I put a record on
Too soon
Put it on
And I will try and dry my eyes
Put it on
But am I something you despise?
Put it on
I will try to dry my eyes, my love

Sinead O'Connor & Terry Hall: "All Kinds of Everything" (1998)
"All Kinds of Everything" is a song written by Derry Lindsay and Jackie Smith which as performed by Dana won the Eurovision Song Contest 1970. "All Kinds of Everything" represented a return to the ballad form from the more energetic performances which had dominated Eurovision the previous years. Dana sings about all the things which remind her of her sweetheart, with the admission at the end of every verse that "all kinds of everything remind me of you". The recording by Dana became an international hit.
Sinéad O'Connor and Terry Hall recorded "All Kinds of Everything" for the 1998 album A Song For Eurotrash; the track was also featured on O'Connor's 2005 release Collaborations.

remind Me Of You.
summer Time, Winter Time,
spring And Autumn Too,
seasons Will Never Change
the Way That I Love You.

Johnny Logan: "Why Me" (2011)
* First Video: Johnny Logan (2011)
* Second Video: Original version by Linda Martin - Eurovision 1992
"Why Me?" was the winner of the Eurovision Song Contest 1992, performed for Ireland by Linda Martin.
The result was also notable as the song was composed by Johnny Logan, who had previously won the Contest with "What's Another Year?" and the self-composed "Hold Me Now". Logan is, to date, the only person to win the Contest with a song composed for him, win the Contest with his own song and then compose another winner.
The song itself is a ballad, which builds in intensity towards the end. The singer describes her thoughts about her lover, and asks why she is the lucky one to have his love, as against anyone else.
The song was performed seventeenth on the night, following the United Kingdom's Michael Ball with "One Step Out Of Time" and preceding Denmark's Kenny Lübcke & Lotte Nilsson with "Alt det som ingen ser". At the close of voting, it had received 155 points, placing 1st in a field of 23.
The song was succeeded in 1993 as winner by Niamh Kavanagh, also representing Ireland, with "In Your Eyes".
- Lyrics:
Sometimes I watch you passing by my window
Sometimes I watch you passing through my dreams
And sometimes when I look at you
You take my breath away
Sometimes I try and understand your reasons
You choose to feel the way you feel about me
And sometimes when I turn around
And you're there like today
Boy/Girl, I wanna say
Why me
I look at you and I get this feeling
Why me
I know it's true but I can't believe it
I keep on wondering why
I'm such a lucky guy/girl
Why me
I look at you and I ask myself
Why me
Why me
I have to ask myself
Why me
Sometimes I lie awake just to watch you sleeping
To listen to the beating of your heart
and sometimes as you're lying there
You take my breath away
I wanna wake you and say
Why me
I look at you and I get this feeling
Why me
I know it's true but I can't believe
That it's me
Who's gonna be holding you in his arms tonight
And that it's me
Who's gonna be the one to make you feel all right,
tonight
Why me
I look at you and I get this feeling
Why me
I know it's true but I can't believe it
I keep on wondering why
I'm such a lucky guy/girl
Why me
I look at you and I ask myself
Why me
I look at you and I ask myself
Why me
I look at you to my surprise
Why me
I see that love in your eyes
Why me
Why me

"Turn Me On" is a song by John D. Loudermilk that was first recorded by Mark Dinning in 1961. Other notable versions are by Nellie Rutherford and Nina Simone.
Norah Jones released her version as the last single of her debut album Come Away with Me.
- Lyrics:
Like a flower waiting to bloom
Like a lightbulb in a dark room
I'm just sitting here waiting for you
To come home and turn me on
Like the desert waiting for the rain
Like a school kid waiting for the spring
I'm just sitting here waiting for you
To come on home and turn me on
My poor heart, it's been so dark since you been gone
After all, you're the one who turns me off
You're the only one who can turn me back on
My hi-fi's waiting for a new tune
The glass is waiting for some fresh ice cubes
I'm just sitting here waiting for you
To come on home and turn me on
Turn me on

Paul Weller: "You Do Something To Me" (1995)
Paul Weller (born 25 May 1958) is an English singer-songwriter. Starting with the band The Jam (1976–1982), Weller then went on to branch out musically to a more soulful style with The Style Council (1983–1989). In 1991 he re-established himself as a successful solo artist, and continues to remain a respected singer, lyricist and guitarist.
Despite widespread critical recognition in most of all the United States, Weller has remained a national rather than an international star, and much of his songwriting is rooted in British culture. He is also the principal figure of the 1970s and 80s mod revival and is often referred to as the Modfather. (Source: Wikipedia)
- Lyrics:
You do something to me
Something deep inside
Im hanging on the wire
For a love i'll never find
You do something wonderful
Then chase it all away
Mixing my emotions
That throws me back again
Hanging on the wire
Im waiting for the change
Im dancing through the fire
Just to catch a flame
An' feel real again
You do something to me
Somewhere deep inside
Im hoping to get close to
A peace i cannot find
Dancing through the fire
Just to catch a flame
Just to get close to it
Just close enough
To tell you that...
You do something to me
Something deep inside

- Lyrics:
You run around town like a fool and you think that it's groovy
You're givin' it to some other guy who gives you the eye
You don't give nothin' to me, you painted a smile
And you dress all the while to excite me.
But don't you know you're turning me on
I know that it's wrong, but I can't stop the pain inside me.
Baby, love really hurts without you,
Love really hurts without you,
And it's breaking my heart,
But what can I do, baby,
Love really hurts without you,
Love really hurts through and through
And it's breaking my heart
But what can I do without you?
You walk like a dream and you make like you're Queen of the action
You're using ev'ry trick in the book the way that you look
You're really something to see, you cheat and you lie
To impress any guy that you fancy, but don't you know
I'm out of my mind, so give me a sign
And help to ease the pain inside me.
Baby, love really hurts without you,
Love really hurts without you,
And it's breaking my heart,
But what can I do, baby,
Love really hurts without you,
Love really hurts through and through
And it's breaking my heart
But what can I do without you?

Crowded House: "Fall At Your Feet" (1991)
"Fall at Your Feet" is a 1991 song by rock group Crowded House from their 1991 album Woodface. It is the only song written solely by the group's leader Neil Finn from Woodface that was released as a single as all other singles from the album were cowritten by Finn with his brother Tim Finn. It became one of the most successful of all the singles from Woodface, peaking at #17 in the UK.
According to wikipedia, the song was later released on the group's greatest hits collection Recurring Dream and was performed at the group's farewell performance in 1996, Farewell to the World.
The track has been covered by dance act CM2 with vocalist Lisa Law, English singer-songwriter James Blunt, English pop punk band Busted, and flamenco guitarist Jesse Cook with singer Danny Wilde. The song was covered by Renée Weldon, Nick Seymour and Conor Brady for the soundtrack to the 2005 Irish drama Trouble with Sex. Also was covered by Glenn Richards (Augie March) for the soundtrack to the 2008 Australian film The Black Balloon. In 2010, Boy & Bear covered Fall At Your Feet for a Finn Brothers' covers album, He Will Have His Way which came in at number 5 in Triple J's Hottest 100 for 2010. Claire Bowditch all did a cover as well as Australian singer, Lisa Mitchell when she was a contestant on Australian Idol. The Louisville, KY based band The Muckrakers occasionally included it with their song Fool, forming a medley during live shows.
All the songs available on the various formats were written by Neil Finn, except "Six Months in a Leaky Boat" (written by Tim Finn and Split Enz) and "Something So Strong" (written by Neil Finn and Mitchell Froom).
- Lyrics:
I'm really close tonight
And I feel like I'm moving inside her
Lying in the dark
And I think that I'm beginning to know her
Let it go
I'll be there when you call
And whenever I fall at your feet
You let your tears rain down on me
Whenever I touch your slow turning pain
You're hiding from me now
There's something in the way that you're talking
The words don't sound right
But I hear them all moving inside you, go
I'll be waiting when you call
Hey and whenever I fall at your feet
You let your tears rain down on me
Whenever I touch your slow turning pain
The finger of blame has turned upon itself
And I'm more than willing to offer myself
Do you want my presence or need my help
Who knows where that might lead
I fall
Whenever I fall at your feet
You let your tears rain down on me
Whenever I fall
Whenever I fall

ADELE: "Make You Feel My Love"
Adele Laurie Blue Adkins (born 5 May 1988), known professionally as Adele. She was the first recipient of the BRIT Awards Critics' Choice and was named the number-one predicted breakthrough act of 2008 in an annual BBC poll of music critics, Sound of 2008. In 2009, Adele won two Grammy Awards, Best New Artist and Best Female Pop Vocal Performance, at the 51st Grammy Awards.
- Lyrics:
When the rain is blowing in your face,
and the whole world is on your case,
I could offer you a warm embrace
to make you feel my love.
When the evening shadows and the stars appear,
and there is no one there to dry your tears,
I could hold you for a million years
to make you feel my love.
I know you haven't made your mind up yet,
but I would never do you wrong.
I've known it from the moment that we met,
no doubt in my mind where you belong.
I'd go hungry; I'd go black and blue,
I'd go crawling down the avenue.
No, there's nothing that I wouldn't do
to make you feel my love.
The storms are raging on the rolling sea
and on the highway of regret.
Though winds of change are blowing wild and free,
you ain't seen nothing like me yet.
I could make you happy, make your dreams come true.
Nothing that I wouldn't do.
Go to the ends of the Earth for you,
to make you feel my love

The Bangles: "Eternal Flame" (Live 1989)
The Bangles are an American all-female band that originated in the early 1980s, scoring several hit singles during the decade.
- Lyrics:
Close your eyes, give me your hand, darling
Do you feel my heart beating, do you understand?
Do you feel the same, am I only dreaming?
Is this burning an eternal flame?
I believe it's meant to be, darling
I watch when you are sleeping, you belong to me
Do you feel the same, am I only dreaming
Or is this burning an eternal flame?
Say my name, sun shines through the rain
A whole life so lonely, and then you come and ease the pain
I don't want to lose this feeling
[break]
Say my name, sun shines through the rain
A whole life so lonely, and then you come and ease the pain
I don't want to lose this feeling
Close your eyes and give me your hand
Do you feel my heart beating, do you understand?
Do you feel the same, am I only dreaming
Or is this burning an eternal flame?
[break]
Is this burning an eternal flame?
An eternal flame?
(Close your eyes and give me your hand
Do you feel my heart beating, do you understand?
Do you feel the same, am I only dreaming
Or is this burning an eternal flame?)

The Mavericks: "Blue Moon" (1995)
"Blue Moon" is a classic popular song. It was written by Richard Rodgers and Lorenz Hart in 1934, and has become a standard ballad.
The Mavericks were a grammy-winning alternative country music band founded in 1989 in Miami, Florida, United States. Between 1991 and 2003 they recorded six studio albums, in addition to charting 14 singles on the Billboard country charts. Their highest-peaking American single was 1996's "All You Ever Do Is Bring Me Down", a collaboration with accordionist Flaco Jiménez. After the band split up in 2003, lead singer Raul Malo became a solo artist. Robert Reynolds has released two solo EPs, 'Audrey In A Dream' & 'The Wintersky Works', co-founded a 'sort-of-supergroup' called SWAG - releasing the album Catchall, and performs with fellow member Paul Deakin in various groups. Occasional supporting member, guitarist and songwriter Jamie Hanna, joined Jonathan McEuen in the duo Hanna-McEuen. Martin Fell is currently attempting to reunite the band, but his efforts are yet to bear fruit. However, press backing for the band's return is starting to emerge.
The lyrics of the song presumably refer to an English idiomatic expression: "once in a blue moon" means very rarely. (The origin of the expression is unclear; see article blue moon.) The narrator of the song is relating a stroke of luck so unlikely that it must have taken place under a blue moon. The title relies on a play on words, since Blue is also the colour of melancholy, and indeed the narrator is sad and lonely until he (or she) finds love.
- Lyrics:
I know I'd stand in line until you think
you have the time to spend an evening with me
And if we go someplace to dance
I know that there's a chance
you won't be leaving with me
And afterwards we'd drop into a quiet little place
and have a drink or two
And then I'd go and spoil it all
by saying something stupid
Like I love you
I can see it in your eyes that you despise
the same old lies you heard the night before
And though it's just a line to you from me
it's true and never seemed so right before
I practise everyday to find some clever lines
to say to make the meaning come true
But then I think I'll wait until
the evening gets late and
I'm alone with you
The time is right your perfume fills my head,
the stars get red and oh the night's so blue
And then I'd go and spoil it all
by saying something stupid
Like I love you
The time is right your perfume fills my head,
the stars get red and oh the night's so blue
And then I'd go and spoil it all
by saying something stupid
Like I love you
I love you
I love you
I do

Goo Goo Dolls: "Iris" (acoustic - 1998)
"Iris" is a song by the Goo Goo Dolls. Originally written for the soundtrack of 1998 film City of Angels, the song was later included on the band's sixth album, Dizzy Up the Girl. The acoustic guitar in the song gives a distinctive sound as it is in an odd tuning, with the bass E string tuned down to B, and the remaining 5 strings tuned to D. This gives a ringing effect similar to a 12-string guitar. "Iris" has contributed greatly to the band's success. It is the longest charting number one single in Billboard Hot 100 Airplay history with 18 weeks scoring number one. It is considered by many as the band's best-known song.
- Lyrics:
Verse 1
And I'd give up forever to touch you
Cause I know that you feel me somehow
You're the closest to heaven that I'll ever be
And I don't want to go home right now
Verse 2
And all I can taste is this moment
And all I can breathe is your life
Cause sooner or later it's over
I just don't want to miss you tonight
Chorus
And I don't want the world to see me
Cause I don't think that they'd understand
When everything's made to be broken
I just want you to know who I am
Verse 3
And you can't fight the tears that ain't coming
Or the moment of truth in your lies
When everything seems like the movies
Yeah you bleed just to know your alive
Chorus
And I don't want the world to see me
Cause I don't think that they'd understand
When everything's made to be broken
I just want you to know who I am
Chorus
I don't want the world to see me
Cause I don't think that they'd understand
When everything's made to be broken
I just want you to know who I am
I just want you to know who I am

- Lyrics:
Closed off from love
I didn't need the pain
Once or twice was enough
And it was all in vain
Time starts to pass
Before you know it you're frozen
But something happened
For the very first time with you
My heart melts into the ground
Found something true
And everyone's looking round
Thinking I'm going crazy
But I don't care what they say
I'm in love with you
They try to pull me away
But they don't know the truth
My heart's crippled by the vein
That I keep on closing
You cut me open and I
Keep bleeding
Keep, keep bleeding love
I keep bleeding
I keep, keep bleeding love
Keep bleeding
Keep, keep bleeding love
You cut me open
Trying hard not to hear
But they talk so loud
Their piercing sounds fill my ears
Try to fill me with doubt
Yet I know that the goal
Is to keep me from falling
But nothing's greater
Than the rush that comes with your embrace
And in this world of loneliness
I see your face
Yet everyone around me
Thinks that I'm going crazy, maybe, maybe
But I don't care what they say
I'm in love with you
They try to pull me away
But they don't know the truth
My heart's crippled by the vein
That I keep on closing
You cut me open and I
Keep bleeding
Keep, keep bleeding love
I keep bleeding
I keep, keep bleeding love
Keep bleeding
Keep, keep bleeding love
You cut me open
And it's draining all of me
Oh they find it hard to believe
I'll be wearing these scars
For everyone to see
I don't care what they say
I'm in love with you
They try to pull me away
But they don't know the truth
My heart's crippled by the vein
That I keep on closing
You cut me open and I(hold note)
Keep bleeding
Keep, keep bleeding love
I keep bleeding
I keep, keep bleeding love
Keep bleeding
Keep, keep bleeding love
You cut me open and I
Keep bleeding
Keep, keep bleeding love
I keep bleeding
I keep, keep bleeding love
Keep bleeding
Keep, keep bleeding love
You cut me open and I
Keep bleeding
Keep, keep bleeding love

- Lyrics:
Don't leave me in all this pain
Don't leave me out in the rain
Come back and bring back my smile
Come and take these tears away
I need your arms to hold me now
The nights are so unkind
Bring back those nights when I held you beside me
Un-break my heart
Say you'll love me again
Undo this hurt you caused
When you walked out the door
And walked outta my life
Un-cry these tears
I cried so many nights
Un-break my heart
My heart
Take back that sad word good-bye
Bring back the joy to my life
Don't leave me here with these tears
Come and kiss this pain away
I can't forget the day you left
Time is so unkind
And life is so cruel without you here beside me
Don't leave me in all this pain
Don't leave me out in the rain
Bring back the nights when I held you beside me
Un-break my heart
Come back and say you love me
Un-break my heart
Sweet darlin'
Without you I just can't go on
Can't go on

No I never felt like this before
Yes I swear it's the truth
And I owe it all to you
'Cause I've had the time of my life
And I owe it all to you
I've been waiting for so long
Now I've finally found someone
To stand by me
We saw the writing on the wall
As we felt this magical
Fantasy
Now with passion in our eyes
There's no way we could disguise it
Secretly
So we take each other's hand
'Cause we seem to understand
The urgency
Just remember
You're the one thing
I can't get enough of
So I'll tell you something
This could be love because
I've had the time of my life
No I never felt this way before
Yes I swear it's the truth
And I owe it all to you
Hey, baby
With my body and soul
I want you more than you'll ever know
So we'll just let it go
Don't be afraid to lose control, no
Yes I know what's on your mind
When you say, "Stay with me tonight"
Just remember
You're the one thing
I can't get enough of
So I'll tell you something
This could be love because
I've had the time of my life
No I never felt this way before
Yes I swear it's the truth
And I owe it all to you
But I've had the time of my life
And I've searched though every open door
Till I found the truth
And I owe it all to you
[SOLO]
Now I've had the time of my life
No I never felt this way before
Yes I swear it's the truth
And I owe it all to you
I've had the time of my life
No I never felt this way before
Yes I swear it's the truth
And I owe it all to you
'Couse I've had the time of my life
And I've searched though every open door
Till I found the truth
And I owe it all to you...

Roxette: "It Must Have Been Love" (1987)
"It Must Have Been Love" is a powerful ballad written by Per Gessle and performed by the Swedish pop duo Roxette.
The ballad became the duo's 3rd #1 hit in the United States, and is one of their best-selling releases, leading the single to be certified gold in a number of countries.
The song, included on the soundtrack to the hugely popular film Pretty Woman, rivals "The Look", "Joyride" and "Listen to Your Heart" as the song most closely associated with them. In 2005, Per Gessle received an award from BMI after the song's four millionth radio play.
- Lyrics:
Lay a whisper on my pillow
Leave the winter on the ground
I wake up lonely, is there a silence
In the bedroom and all around
Touch me now, I close my eyes
And dream away...
It must have been love, but it's over now
It must have been good, but I lost it somehow
It must have been love, but it's over now
From the moment we touched till the time had run out
Make believing we're together
That I'm sheltered by your heart
But in and outside I turn to water
Like a teardrop in your palm
And it's a hard winter's day
I dream away...
It must have been love, but it's over now
It was all that I wanted, now I'm living without
It must have been love, but it's over now
It's where the water flows, it's where the wind blows
It must have been love, but it's over now
It must have been good, but I lost it somehow
It must have been love, but it's over now
From the moment we touched till the time had run out

Jason Manns and Jensen Ackles: "Crazy Love" (2008)
"Crazy Love" is a romantic ballad written by Northern Irish singer-songwriter Van Morrison and included on his 1970 album, Moondance. The song was released as a single in May 1970 with "Come Running" as the A side, and again in Holland with "Come Running" as the B side.
The cover of the single shows Morrison with his then-wife, Janet "Planet" Rigsbee. The photograph was taken by Elliot Landy, the official photographer of the 1969 Woodstock festival.
- Lyrics:
I can hear her heart beat for a thousand miles
And the heavens open every time she smiles
And when I come to her that's where I belong
Yet I'm running to her like a river's song
Chorus:
She give me love, love, love, love, crazy love
She give me love, love, love, love, crazy love
She's got a fine sense of humor when I'm feeling low down
And when I come to her when the sun goes down
Take away my trouble, take away my grief
Take away my heartache, in the night like a thief
Chorus:
Yes I need her in the daytime
Yes I need her in the night
Yes I want to throw my arms around her
Kiss her hug her kiss her hug her tight
And when I'm returning from so far away
She gives me some sweet lovin' brighten up my day
Yes it makes me righteous, yes it makes me feel whole
Yes it makes me mellow down in to my soul
