Dido: "Here With Me" (1998)

"Here with Me" is a song by Dido and the first single released from her debut album, No Angel.

This track can also be found on Dido's promo album, "The Highbury Fields EP" from 1998.

This song was used as the theme music for the American television drama Roswell. After the re-release of No Angel in 2001, "Here with Me" was chosen to be the first single.

It peaked at number four in the UK Singles Chart becoming her second top five single in a row, following "Stan", a collaboration with Eminem.

- Lyrics:

I didn't hear you leave
I wonder how am I still here
And I don't want to move a thing
It might change my memory

Oh I am what I am
I do what I want
But I can't hide

And I won't go
I won't sleep
I can't breathe
Until you're resting here with me

And I won't leave
I can't hide
I cannot be
Until you're resting here with me

I don't want to call my friends
For they might wake me from this dream
And I can't leave this bed
Risk forgetting all that's been

Oh I am what I am
I do what I want
But I can't hide

And I won't go
I won't sleep
I can't breathe
Until you're resting here with me

I won't leave
I can't hide
I cannot be
Until you're resting here

I won't go
And I won't sleep
And I can't breathe
Until you're resting here with me

And I won't leave
I can't hide
I cannot be
Until you're resting here with me

Oh I am what I am
I do what I want
But I can't hide

And I won't go
I won't sleep
And I can't breathe
Until you're resting here with me

I won't leave
I can't hide
I cannot be
Until you're resting here

And I won't go
And I won't sleep
And I can't breathe
Until you're resting here with me

I won't leave
I can't hide
I cannot be
Until you're resting here with me
