Hussein El jasmi: "Bawada3ak" (Goodbye - 2002)

Hussain Al Jassmi is a popular Arabic-language singer from the United Arab Emirates.

He rose to prominence after the release of his first single Bawada'ak, which was a success.

Al Jasmi's next single was Wallah Mayiswa which sold thousands of copies and acquired him well-liked acceptance throughout the Middle East.

He is best known for the song Bassbour Al Fourgakom which is also one of the synchronised tunes that play alongside performances of The Dubai Fountain.

In 2008, Al Jassmi was a recipient of the Murex d'Or award, under the category of "best Arabic male singer".

Marwan Khoury: "Asr El Sho" (Castle Of Desir - 2006)

Marwan Khoury (February 3, 1968) is a Lebanese singer, writer, composer and music arranger. His compositions are performed by some of the most famous artists in the Arab World and adapted by many other countries including Turkey. He composed hits for leading artists such as Majida El Roumi, Saber Rabai, Nawal Al Zoghbi, Assala Nasri, Najwa Karam, Fadl Shaker, Elissa, Carole Samaha, Bassima, and Myriam Fares.

According to wikipedia, he was born in Amchit, Lebanon, he is the third of five children born to Tanyous and Naseema Khoury. He has two older sisters Leena and Mona, and two younger brothers Calude, who works as a TV director, and Dany is a music arranger. In 1986, Khoury enrolled at the Université Saint-Esprit de Kaslik (USEK) in Lebanon where he studied piano, Musicology and Music History. During his university years, he won a prize in a music composition contest. The award was presented to the singer by former Lebanese President Amin Gemayel. In 1988, Khoury produced his first album Kasak Habibi depending solely on himself in writing the lyrics, composing the songs, and producing.

Khoury started a new phase in his life in 1989, not as a singer but as a keyboard player and a band conductor. He performed in various TV shows. He continued as a keyboard player until 1996 and played with many famous Lebanese artists. But during that period, Khoury wrote and sang the single, "Fik Yamma Balak". It was released in 1994 and established him as a singer. In 1997 he wrote, composed and performed his second single "Lasbor Ala Welah". It was not until 1999 that Khoury finally became known in the music industry as a writer/composer. He wrote and composed two hit songs for Nawal Al Zoghbi; "Tia" and "Dalouna". Then the year 2001 came along and with it Khoury launched his first official album Khayal El-Omer. The very next year, Khoury shot his first video clip "Ya Shog".

Khoury has twice been awarded the Murex d'or. He first won in 2003 and then in 2004 he was awarded another Murex d'or for Best Multi-Talented Artist (singer, composer, music video, song and album). Kil Al Asayed was one of the best selling albums of 2004.

In 2005, Khoury landed a five-year contract with the major production company Rotana Records. He also released his first major album Kil Al Asayed in May 2005. The album and the title song were successful and their popularity spread fast. It was this album that made Khoury famous in the Arab World. In 2006 Khoury released an additional album Asr El Sho. Khoury's latest album will contain 10 tracks and be released sometime in 2010.

Asala: "Been Edeek" (In Your Arms - 2007)

AsalaNasri (born 15 May 1969) is a Syrian musical artist. Asala was born in Damascus, Syria to a middle class couple. Mostafa Nasri, Asala's father, was a revered Syrian composer and singer.

Asala began her musical career by performing patriotic, religious, and children's songs when she was four years old. She sang the theme song "Qessas Al Sho'oub", of the cartoon show, Hekayat Alamiyah.

In 1986, Mostafa Nasri died after suffering from internal bleeding caused by a car accident. Aged 17 she helped care for her siblings, Reem, Amani, Ayman and Ayham with her mother.

According to wikipedia, Asala's commercial musical career debuted in 1991 with Law Ta'rafou. The album had 4 songs in the oriental operatic tarab style.

The album was an instant hit with heartbreaking songs like Ya Sabra Yana and Samehtak Ketir.

She quickly cemented her presence in a growing industry brimming with new, young talent like Najwa Karam, Saber Rebai, Angham, and Abdelmajeed Abdullah.

Nancy Ajram: "Elli Kan" (Everything Before - 2010)

Nancy Nabil Ajram (born May 16, 1983) is a multi-platinum Lebanese singer and Goodwill Ambassador for UNICEF.

By 2007, Ajram had sold over 30 million records ranking 3rd best selling female artist in Lebanese history. She has released seven studio albums to date and appeared in a number of music videos and commercials.

She participated in the most significant Arabic festivals and won multiple awards, most importantly the 2008 World Music Award as Best-selling Middle Eastern Artist, the youngest Arab WMA winner to date.

Nancy Ajram is the first and only female sponsor and spokesperson of Coca-Cola in the Middle East and Arab world.
